FAQ
Questions about Frame L
Can I order Frame L now?
Frame L is not yet on sale. Registering your interest is non-binding and does not place an order.
Which spaces is Frame L intended for?
The large format is intended for larger walls in living spaces, reception areas, meeting rooms and galleries. Allow enough space and ambient light: E-Paper reflects light and does not emit its own.
What dimensions have been announced?
The announced outer dimensions of the new Frame L are 80 × 60 × 3.6 cm. Confirmed specifications and delivery times will be available on this page when sales begin.
Can I use my own photos?
Frame L is planned to include the Private Collection lifetime license for your own images. Artist collections are offered separately, each with its own access period.
How should I plan the space for Frame L?
First mark the announced outer dimensions of 80 × 60 cm on the intended wall using paper or removable tape. View the area from the sofa, meeting table or entrance. This helps you judge whether the format suits the room and leaves enough clear wall around the image. Take furniture, doors and walking routes into account.
What lighting works best for viewing?
E-Paper uses the light in the room, much like a printed photograph. Check the intended location during the day and in the evening with the lighting you actually use. Even illumination helps you see detail and subtle shades of gray. In a dark room, the image surface also remains dark; Frame L is not intended to be a self-lit screen.
When would a smaller frame be a better fit?
The large format makes sense when photography is intended to define a whole wall. For narrow walls, close viewing or a place on a shelf, consider Frame S or Frame M. Compare the outer dimensions and the respective product pages. If you need a frame soon, also check their current availability and delivery times.
What should I prepare for a gallery or reception area?
For project planning, gather photographs of the room, the available wall area, the typical viewing distance and your preferred images. When artist photographs are shown publicly, usage rights must cover that setting; a private-use licence does not automatically cover public display. Also confirm final mounting information and delivery dates with APHEUM before committing to an exhibition schedule.
